When
Silence Speaks
The
center is alive with an eternal fire
Transcendent
voice yet immanent
here
in personal resonance;
For
I am the beloved distance brought near
In
the bosom of being
Through
the blessed blood of intimacy.
The
purest stone bought flesh and bone
and
penetrated the surface of the stilled soul
with
ripples born of benevolent deep
Above
breathing
from below
A
body of water
pregnant
with light
for
the child to become
all
in all
